| To increase usage, loyalty and awareness
of the Galia skin care range amongst economically active commuters,
cosmetic manufacturer Permark selected innovative commuter media
specialist, ComutaNet, to present its public ‘face’,
to millions of commuters across the country.
The three month ‘no oily skin, no blackheads, no spots’
campaign combined several of ComutaNet’s innovative media
platforms to successfully reach potential consumers travelling
to and from work.
The use of interactive Roving Stage Trailers proved ideal for
one-on-one engagements with the target audience. This highly
visible platform, offering impactful branding on a double-sided
billboard, combined with promoter education, gave commuters
opportunities to experience delivery of the product’s
promise first hand.
Star Music tapes, a highly favoured primary music medium of
South African taxi drivers, ensured Galia maximum repeat exposure
to more than 9.4 million commuters weekly over the Easter period.

Augmenting the campaign, ComutaNet’s
funky, fun and informative live digital radio station, Star
Radio, beamed the Galia campaign message to audiences across
20 of South Africa’s largest taxi ranks.
“The high visibility of our media platforms, make them
particularly suited to FMCG products such as Galia. By combining
the audio, visual and physical characteristics offered by these
various media platforms, Galia secured successful introduction,
penetration and assimilation of the product intrinsics within
this lucrative market,” says Brian Lindquist, ComutaNet
Sales & Marketing Director.
