The 94.7 Sound of Joburg Promotion, powered by Mecer, kicked off with a bang as a lucky listener identified the 1st mystery sound on day one of the competition and pocketed R50 000 in cash!

Joburgers were locked onto their No.1 Hit Music Station to guess the sounds. Although most of the sounds seemed familiar they were not that easy to identify. Many listeners knew that they had heard the sounds before although they could not pinpoint exactly what they were.

Even those who did not enter the competition became caught up in it as they eagerly waited for the sounds to be identified to satisfy their curiosity.
