On Saturday 5 February thousands
of listeners flocked to Clifton's Fourth Beach for CapeTalk's
Moonstruck presented by Checkers - an event now firmly etched
on Cape Town's calendar.
The ever-popular Jonny Cooper Orchestra enthralled the audience
with their soothing sounds and transformed the beach into an
open-air "dance-hall", with thousands of listeners
arriving to swing to the music.
CapeTalk's Mike Wills, Charmaine Noy and Kieno Kammies hosted
the evening, while busker entertainment added to the ambience
of the night, and yachts and kayaks filled the bay. A sky full
of stars and the sound of the ocean lapping the beach did the
rest - making sure it was a magical evening.

The National Sea Rescue Institute was, as always, on duty,
this time selling candles to raise much-needed funds for their
organisation. A big thank you to our sponsors Checkers and all
the listeners who made the event such a success.
