Kfm OPEN
HOMES
In August Kfm encouraged listeners to open their homes for
live ‘Kfm Breakfast’ broadcasts under their own
roofs! Four homes were chosen in four different areas and the
Kfm listeners turned out in droves to meet the team and get
in on the action - Athlone (400 visitors), Somerset West (600
visitors), Kensington (500 visitors) and Durbanville (700 visitors).
This years promotion was the second ‘Kfm Breakfast Open
Homes’ and thanks to sponsors Duens Country Collection
and all the enthusiastic, loyal and inquisitive listeners it
was a resounding success.

Kfm SUNDOWN SESSION
In a first for Kfm 94.5 the station embarked on an ambitious
plan to stage a series of live concerts in support of talented
South African artists. The first unplugged show starred Heinz
Winckler and Melanie Lowe and tickets sold out within 45 minutes
of the first on air promotion. The evening itself was a huge
success and exceeded all expectations. A big thank you to our
sponsors Amaraula for a memorable evening that showcased some
great local talent.
