COMUTANET AND LUCKY STAR IMPLEMENT EFFECTIVE CSI PROGRAMME

Lucky Star's understanding of the importance of corporate social investment and upliftment programmes has influenced its decision to maintain what is now the longest running bus campaign in South Africa through ComutaNet. With 40% of all bus advertising revenue being donated to the Putco foundation, ComutaNet, together with Lucky Star has made its 11-year partnership more than just promoting a brand.

Six doctors have graduated with assistance from Putco scholarships last year alone. "Six doctors, from one company's advertising, on one medium, gives a taste of the degree to which corporations may benefit society through Putco," says Gomotsang Seemang, Lucky Star's Account Manager.

While bus advertising is not the usual choice, it is particularly suited to brands like Lucky Star. Buses ensure maximum coverage by taking mobile billboards to where target markets are most likely to view and digest the message.

Brian Lindquist, Sales & Marketing Director of ComutaNet says, "We are very pleased that our contribution to Putco has made a great difference in people's lives. With Lucky Star in particular, our long term relationship has benefited many, and we look forward to the next 11 years, continuing a successful partnership with Lucky Star and ComutaNet mega buses."
