DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SPREADS VITAL MESSAGE
THROUGH COMUTANET

Creating awareness on the importance of immunisation against Polio for all South Africans and particularly children, the Department of Health commissioned ComutaNet to manage an intense national promotional campaign requesting parents to take their children to the nearest clinic to be immunised, a call to action that would potentially save millions of lives.

Ensuring the message reached a wide range of the target market, the campaign comprised almost 400 x 30" spots in all 11 official languages on Commuter FM, broadcasting to 74 Metrorail station platforms across the country, 300 interior branded train coaches with 4 adverts in each coach and interior advertisements in 2 500 taxis.

"The Department of Health's national campaign was a vital one as together, we educated commuters on the importance of immunisation and child care.

We are proud to have had our media selected as an alternative to print in getting this important message across," says Brian Lindquist, Marketing and Sales Director for ComutaNet.
